For Conures, Cockatoos, African Grey Parrots, Macaws, Amazon Parrots we provide a mixed diet that includes a quality parrot mix plus a wide variety of other foods including hard green vegetables like broccoli and a selection of fruit.

For Cockateils, Parakeets, Lorikeets, Rosellas, Lovebirds, Budgerigars, Canaries and Finches we provide a mixed diet that includes a quality seed mix fortified with vitamins and minerals, supplemented by small amounts of lettuce, dandelion, grated carrot, orange, apple, honey seed bars and millet sprays.

Constant availability of fresh water. All fruit and vegetables are thoroughly washed before feeding. Food, water dishes, bird baths and toys are cleaned regularly.

We also provide cuttlefish for calcium, multi vitamin drops added to the water or a combined calcium/vitamin preparation and grit to aid digestion. Perches and floor covering of cage housings are cleaned and changed daily.

High priority is given to stimulation and social contact contributing to achieving the happiness and general well-being of your pet bird or parrot whilst in our care.

Short periods of time spent in the garden within the confines of your pet bird or parrot’s cage to benefit from a little ‘sunbathing’ to help assimilate the essential vitamins in their diet can be accommodated. This is done under supervision and is subject to the time of year.

We welcome owners to view and inspect the premises and visit the resident pony, cats, dogs, fish, birds, parrots, reptiles, bunny rabbits and rodents at Small Animals Boarding before boarding their pet(s).

We offer appropriate housings, however they are limited.

We have relations with local Veterinary practices which offer a 24 hour service should a need arise.

We offer a collection and delivery service should you require the convenience.
